“We’d spotted it about 100 metres away and thought that was the end of it. Then suddenly it was right up beside us,” Paloma Werner was quoted as saying. “I assumed it would go underneath the boat but instead it sprang out of the sea. This is a TRIP. But none of the articles say what happened to the animal afterwards. Was he like, “I’M GOING TO GIVE YOU GUYS A HIGH FIVE! Oh shit, I’m a whale.” Or maybe it was a dare situation? “Rob, Matt, you guys watch me hit this. Up and over, no problem.” (five minutes later) “I‘ve made a huge mistake.” And then he left? Was he okay? Did he have any ouchies? We need to get to the bottom of this.

I was womdering the same thing!!! One article I read mentioned bits of skin and blubber being left behind. Poor whale…

I had this same problem when I lived in Quincy, MA. My house didn’t exist so I always told people to get directions to the Elks Lodge across the street.

Matt Kish is illustrating every page of my favourite novel, Moby Dick, and posting each to his site. Every. Page. He’s up to page 301 now.

This illustration is for a few lines of page 297:

My co workers, both the finance doods, just freaked the fuck out because there will be a Chipotle built on the next block.

Of note, these two doods freak out about NOTHING. Sometimes they giggle about donor calls or my crazed swearing fits, but other than that, they just work their asses off.

They just opened one near my office a couple of weeks ago. Two days before their grand opening they brought over coupons for free Chipotle the next day (for practice for their staff) and my coworkers FREAKED OUT! You would have thought those coupons were for iphones or something. They actually fought over them. Ridiculous.

Flugelhorns are most definitely real, Miss Thing.

My best friend played one in high school. They sound awesome. They’re like trumpets, but awesomer.

I also played the flugelhorn in high school. I always told people it was like a pregnant trumpet.
