Okay, guy, tips from barback me to you:
If you care about germs at all and you go out to a bar, only order things in a bottle. Like beer, Mike’s Hard, etc.
And, for the love of all things holy, never ever get a drink with milk in it. You don’t want bar milk. Don’t even make me talk about bar milk.
…I SAID DON’T MAKE ME TALK ABOUT IT.
I can second the no bar milk - RESTAURANT/BAR PRO TIP. NO BAR MILK.
I might even extend this to all milk in restaurants. it’s the one thing that, as a waitress, I ALWAYS felt bad about serving…and it doesn’t matter if it’s a little dive bar or crazy huge chain restaurant. A glass of milk in a restaurant has a really high likelihood of being expired or worse - left out on a counter for hours before being stuck back in the fridge. Gross.
