There was just a break in the clouds and I literally went, “Ooh!” and rushed to the window to see the sunshine. It’s gone now. I should probably rethink moving to places like Seattle.
I went to Seattle once. Stayed there for five days straight. Sun was out the whole time, and at one point I walked up to (what I think was) Puget Sound and I could see clear down to the bottom. (Of course, it was only the shoreline.) Which made me wonder if Seattle was really as gray and rainy as I’d always heard.
I recall reading somewhere that New York City is actually, um, rainier than Seattle. Can’t find that article right now, tho…
I love Seattle. It’s way sunnier than people say. I figure it’s a plot on the part of the locals to keep people from moving there.
