The Barmaiden

I don’t have a ton of followers, and I don’t participated in tumblr stuff very often, but the thought of meeting some of you people in San Francisco in January is intriguing, because quite a few people that I follow seem to be planning on going, and I think that those people are entertaining and funny and interesting, so I’d love to have the chance to meet them in person even though they probably have no idea who I am…especially since I live in the LA area now and have a car (which means I could drive up) and the boyfriend’s dad lives in San Francisco, so if I could talk the boyfriend into going up to visit his dad that weekend, then I could totally go and have a place to stay, and that would be cool…but the boyfriend has already sworn that he will not go to anything remotely resembling a tweetup, so I’d have to go alone (which is fine) but I don’t want to crash a party I’m not invited to, or show up and have no one have the slightest clue who I am (because, hello!  Awkward!) so I don’t know.  And I know this is a bit rambly, but I’m really not fishing for compliments or anything, but just trying to test the waters a bit before I start really thinking about driving six hours to meet my imaginary friends from the internet.  Know what I mean, jelly bean?
