It sucks.
So, I moved out of my apartment yesterday. For the next 10 days I am staying with a good friend who is nice enough to let me stay in her spare bedroom virtually free of charge (I’ve promised to help with some home improvement projects)…thing is, she doesn’t have internet!
So, I’m stuck reading all your lovely posts on my iPhone. Which is fine, but is less than helpful when it comes to posting and reblogging. So, I’ve queued up some posts to publish during daylight hours, but if you notice my sporadic posting, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
In case you care, here’s my timeline:
October 1-12: Finish out my last few shifts at the bar and stay with my friend (without internet!)
October 12 - 13 or 14: Drive from Seattle to Santa Monica (with a possible pitstop in Portland to have coffee with the lovely Sokeri). I plan to take I-5 to Portland, then the PCH to San Francisco (it’s prettier - and totally worth the extra time and miles!), then back to I-5 from San Francisco to Santa Monica. (Are you somewhere along that route? Wanna have a quick cup of coffee with me and my dog? Let me know!)
October 15-18: A trip to Mexico to sit on the beach with my family (no internet there, either!)
October 19-23: Hang out in Santa Monica and look for a job.
October 23-25: Visit friends in Fresno. (Are you in Fresno? Wanna hang out in the ‘No with me and my ‘real life’ friends? Let me know!)
And then it’s back to Santa Monica for more job hunting and hopefully a semi-charmed, normal-ish life!
